Just a reminder that tomorrow's rehearsal is for The Mob Song - a chance to revise, strengthen, finalise, nail the number so that in future rehearsals everyone can give 100% every time!  (Oh yes, keen eyes are quick to spot anyone who isn't 100% sure of what and when they should be singing!)

Incidentally, let's have a virtual round of applause for our accompanist - there's an AWFUL lot of notes to play in the numbers, and as Marje mentioned on the radio tonight just "Be Our Guest" is 8 minutes long, so kudos to Ben for his excellent accompaniment!

Well done last night everyone who attended.  Note-bashing is not the most exciting of things to do, but the end result is worth the effort.   You made a great sound last night, and hopefully the tricky modulation in the Finale is now mastered ... learning the 'destination' first worked, didn't it?! 

Mike will email to everyone some practice material - to simplify the job, everyone will get everything ... simply delete what you personally don't need/want.

Everyone who couldn't be there last night, you MUST get a copy of the revised music from Mike (who is away on holiday for two weeks, so in the meantime see Judith F for copies) and sing through using the rehearsal materials you are being sent.  We may get another chance to revise but time is becoming precious now.

Next rehearsal I attend we will bottom "Human Again" especially the earlier sections so that you know when and what you are singing BEFORE running the number.  

looks like iv paid for my ticket and shall be sitting with Bolton Prem at the BATS Dinner! 

its great to be back with Bolton Prem and I'm loving Beauty and the Beast! gonna be a fab show!

I have already confirmed my leave with Mike, but just for your interest Steve - my last rehearsal before hols will be 9th August, I will be on holiday 'til about the 20th and will then be travelling to as many rehearsals as poss (from milton keynes) between 20th aug and Sept' 1st.

Well done, all - tonight was a big sing but worthwhile (in my opinion) to both go over some old(er)material and introduce some new notes too! Tonight's revisions will be made available ASAP so that everyone can get themselves familiar with what they should be singing - remember, practice makes perfect and the more you sing between rehearsals the stronger and more confident you will become in rehearsals (and of course performance!)

As Belle will be off on holiday shortly, we will focus on setting/movement/lib involving her but next week we shall look at "Human Again" "Gaston" and "The Mob Song" - once again, revisions available as soon as technically possible.

I'm graduating from university this summer and moving back to Bolton at the end of september. I've been involved in Musical Theatre all my life and especially at university doing lots of singing dancing and shows. I am desperately looking for a show to get involved in next year. I'm sooooo gutted I am missing Beauty and the Beast as it's one of my favourite musicals! Are you doing anything else later in the year I could join you for?
