AUDITION INFORMATION FOR

RED HOT SWING 2

Coming to Bolton Albert Halls October 2009

Auditions will be taking place Sunday 17th May from 5pm - 9pm at

United Reformed Church, Wigan Road, Bolton, BL3 4QJ

The format will be open mic. auditions for soloists or duets. This will give you a chance to showcase your talents to the auditioning panel (and everyone else watching). Anyone is welcome to come along and support those auditioning.

There will be a selection of backing tracks available but you are welcome to bring your own on CD as long as it is in keeping with the style of the show.

Ensemble Workshop

There will also be an Ensemble workshop on Monday 18th May 7.30pm - 10pm at

Christ Church, Heaton, Markland Hill, BL1 5EJ

This will be an introduction to the flavour of the show involving singing and dancing. It will also be a chance for those who may not wish to audition for a solo piece to show us your talents if you fancy singing as part of a group or backing singers. Dancers, this is your chance to show us what you've got!

Welcome to Bolton Premier Productions

Well, our 2008 production of 'Scrooge The Musical'  was one I doubt that any of us will forget. The hard work paid off for all those involved, whether on stage or 'behind the scenes'. Well done to everyone for all your effort. We had ups and downs through rehearsals and it all came together perfectly. Everyone worked extremely hard to make this a 'mountain' of a production (to steal a phrase from our chairman). Special mention must go to Marje Brayshaw for her direction and control of such a large cast, Steven Sandiford for his musical direction and his ability to sing all parts from top soprano to bass, Craig Brayshaw for managing the stage and keeping it all flowing together seamlessly and of course Connor O'Beirne for his fantastic portrayal of Mr. Ebenezer Scrooge!

So what have 2009 and 2010 got in store for Bolton Prem? Well firstly, 'Red Hot Swing' is returning in a brand new production. RHS first appeared at Bolton Prem in 2004 and now the show has been revamped for 2009. The show will include 'Big Band' classics along side many surprises. We may sneak out a few details nearer the time. This is an exciting and exhilarating show, featuring some of the finest talent Bolton and surrounding areas has to offer.

And if that isn't enough, for 2010 we are delighted to announce that we have managed to obtain the rights to perform Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast' The exact dates will be announced soon and we will supply all details on this website. Everything you need to know from auditioning to performance times will appear here.
